Gotta move forward with my life
i dont wanna live in the past no more
childhood memories really fucken got to me
now they are just a memory
i lived a great life but that all faded away
when i pushed it away i shouldnt even say
but now you see i really loved her
would have did anything for her
then a few years past and she found a new lover
it really hurt me it broke me
i felt depressed every single night
she doesnt even know the pain she left behind
drying my eyes every other night
i was ready for the flight
but she was scared of heights
things went wrong but alot went good
i wish i could have understood
what made you change your mind that day
what made you leave my side anyway
i knew you would stay close by
and i never wanna say goodbye
i was in a dark place
but now im doing better
it took alot of time and help
but now thats all gone and done
now its time to move on with my life
i wish you would be my wife
but wishes never come true unless your wishing apon that star
up in the dark sky's looking in her eyes she's got my hypnotized
i guess i gotta realize
now that she is fertilized
that i gotta back down
and i hope she's one happy girl
to bring a baby in this world
ill always be here for those two
even tho i gotta move on to
i know ill be one hell of a dad
ill spoil my kid and teach him right from wrong
and i still have a lot to learn
but when my time comes im sure ill know just what to do
